Friday's Feast - on Monday morning

Appetizer - Name 2 things you would like to accomplish in 2008.

A better balance of work and family. I spend too much time not being with my family and I need to see them more when we are able to be all together. The second is taking bigger, better steps towards being environmentally responsible and eco-friendly in our home.

Soup - With which cartoon character do you share personality traits?

Miss Piggy. No, wait. She is a puppet and I suppose that doesn't count. I love to sing though and am pretty headstrong so she works otherwise. Are there any cartoons like that?? Donald Duck I would have to say.

Salad - What time of day (or night) were you born?

2:45 p.m. I think.

Main Course - Tell us something special about your hometown.

My hometown is a small, Scot-celebrating location in southern Ontario. Fergus hosts the Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games which people come to from all around the world. It also has one more special connection for me; with Doug being of Scottish ancestry and my being from Fergus it seemed fitting to name our eldest child: "Fergus."

Dessert - If you could receive a letter from anyone in the world, who would you want to get one from?

As long as the content was positive and friendly, Leanne Hall-Willier. She and I went to Belgium together 20 years ago this spring and I would love to know what is going on with her now. I think she lives in Ottawa and I heard she has a son, Hunter maybe?, and I would love to have a chance to reconnect. I haven't seen her since Doug and I were in university.
