We came down through New York, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia before we drove out of snow and onto dry roads. Pennsylvania had far more snow than we have at home. I know I am letting my naivete shine through but I assumed that they would have a little less than we do. I was surprised. Oh well.
Doug shot some of these as we were coming through the mountains in West Virginia. Judging by the snow on the roads and how wet the roads were they must have had snow the night before. It was sunny and bright for us for driving and the fresh snow and ice on the trees made the view breath-taking.
